It's harvest time! These beauties have already been through a lot. From bud to blossom to bunches of ripe fruit. And now, they will be picked, crushed, and fermented. And that is not the end of the journey. They will go from tank to barrel to bottle.
I wonder what the wine will taste like in 6 months, 2 years, 20 years? It will be different at each stage. It must be so exciting to be a winemaker. To taste fruit on the vine and have an inkling what it can become. To ponder potential.
